For us “normal people,” losing a couple hundred of dollars is a major pain, causing us to adjust some things around and make sacrifices. While no one likes to lose money or feel as if they’re broke, when it happens to big-earning celebrities, the pain is a hell of a lot worse. That’s because, instead of just a few hundred bucks, it’s usually millions. And in case you’re wondering which celebs have lived outside of their means over they years after losing a bunch of money, here’s a list of 15 of them.

15. Sarah Ferguson
Who knew that being royalty could be so difficult? Once married to Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson ran up debts as high as $8 million by 2011, later caught in a cash for success scandal that humiliated her and her family. While most of her family cut her off, ironically, her former husband came to rescue her, paying off most of her debts and allowing her to sleep in the living room of his house, helping her salvage from falling to rock bottom.

14. Terrell Owens
There have been a number of horror stories about athletes losing money, but former NFL receiver Terrell Owens’ is one of the most famous because of his flashy personality. Blowing through his $70 million fortune due to a number of different child support cases, T.O. was able to salvage some money with a reality TV series and other competitive TV shows, but he’ll never make back what he was once worth during his playing days.

13. Nadya “Octomom” Suleman
After going onto welfare back in 2012, Nadya Suleman—who was better known as “Octomom” following her reality TV show and eight kids—she was forced to bankruptcy as well. Another victim of minimal reality TV success, Suleman is once again back on welfare after owing creditors more than $1 million and racking up legal fees.

12. Kelis
A rapper who had a few popular songs, Kelis once tried to make a ton from iconic rapper Nas following their divorce, but was unsuccessful in her child support claims. Spending thousands on luxury baby products, she was forced to alter her lifestyle and is trying to make a comeback through touring and a new album.

11. Willie Nelson
Although singer Willie Nelson is worth around $25 million now, 25 years ago he had nearly everything taken from him. Owing more than $16.7 million in back taxes to the IRS, the organization seized his bank accounts and several of his houses to retrieve their money.

10. Stephen Baldwin
He might have a famous last name, but Stephen Baldwin hasn’t shown to live up to it as much as some of his other family members have. Owing more than $2.3 million in debts back in 2009, the youngest Baldwin escaped jail, but he was still near rock bottom. He has saved himself with a few reality TV appearances and a regular radio spot, but he’s far from what he was once worth.

9. Pamela Anderson
Once discovered at sporting event when she showed up on the JumboTron, model/actress Pamela Anderson was one of the most beautiful women in the world during the ’90s. Following her divorce with Motley Cure drummer Tommy Lee, Pam was forced to move to a trailer park with her two sons, hit with some serious financial trouble. While the bubbly blonde continues to try and get work where she can, she still hasn’t hopped out of the hole she is in.

8. Gary Busey
Actor/Entertainer Gary Busey has always been a little bit out there, but it’s hard not to feel bad for the guy after he was forced to bankruptcy in 2012 following debts of up to $1 million. Making more than 70 movies in his career, Busey has dropped to nothing more than just a reality TV show regular, getting what he can to try and stay relevant.

7. Joe Francis
Once worth millions thanks to his “Girls Gone Wild” movies and events, Joe Francis has fallen on tough times these days. Owning more than $16 million in disputed claims, he was forced to bankruptcy early in 2014, making him lose the high-life that he once lived every single day. With his reign coming to an end, it’ll be interesting to see what he does to get back.

6. Scott Storch
Working with musical talents like Beyonce, 50 Cent, T.I. and others, former producer Scott Storch seemed to be on top of the world back in 2006. Since then, though, things haven’t gone his way, as he fell into a drug problem and blew through $30 million about as fast as he earned it. Owing more than $60,000 to 13 different creditors in seven states, it doesn’t look like Storch has a comeback that will help him climb out of his personal hell hole.

5. Courtney Love
Courtney Love has always been a bit out there, but after she discovered that nearly $20 million of her and former husband Kurt Cobain’s money had been taken from her entourage, she about lost it. Battling addiction to cope with the losses, Love was evicted after trying to burn her NYC West Village townhouse down. Courtney has landed a few recurring roles that have helped her since everything went down, cleaning up her act a bit.

4. Lindsay Lohan
The case of Lindsay Lohan is certainly a sad one, as the former child star/singer had a career that looked so bright before throwing it all away following too much partying. After refusing—or forgetting—to pay $900,000 in taxes in 2012, LiLo was able to avoid bankruptcy, but she’s still not worth what many would think after a so many credits in movies and TV.

3. Jon Gosselin
Following his 15 minutes of fame from a reality show with former wife, Kate, Jon Gosselin lost everything, forced to move in with his mom who, reportedly, pays for everything and lends him her car. With no chance of a comeback on the acting scene, Gosselin’s story of falling from grace is a reminder that reality TV should never be looked at as a full-time career.

2. Randy Quaid
One of the most famous cases of a celebrity going AWOL and bankrupt, former actor Randy Quaid may be remembered for famous roles like Cousin Eddy in Christmas Vacation, but it’s no resort for where he is these days. After a bevy of financial mess, Quaid and his wife fled the U.S. to Canada where they have been hiding out to avoid paying taxes and other wild theories they have.

1. MC Hammer
Making over $33 million in 1991 alone, former musician MC Hammer somehow blew all of it by 1996, forcing him to bankruptcy after outrageous spending in those five years. A cautionary tale for all musicians who hit it big early in their careers, Hammer hasn’t earned nearly all of the money back, but he has focused on other things, becoming an ordained minister, working with a startup and doing a few performances every now and then.
