"Life Of Crime" Premiere - Arrivals - 2013 Toronto International Film Festival

Jennifer Aniston is a California girl turned actress with a net worth of $150 million. She’s most famous for playing the role of Rachel on the hit television show FRIENDS for nearly a decade, but she’s also been in a number of films since the sitcom ended in the early 2000s. She’s one of the most famous, hottest actresses in the world, and her fame continues to rise with each role she takes.

Jennifer Joanna Aniston was born in Sherman Oaks, California on February 11, 1969 to John Aniston and Nancy Dow. Her father was a television actor, but she grew up not being allowed to watch television. Her parents strongly discouraged this, encouraging their children instead to follow their own dreams and study hard for school. Her parents ended their relationship when she was 9. When she was 6, her parents decided to send her to a school by the name of Rudolph Steiner School, where she learned the craft of acting. She was part of the high school drama club.

Like many actresses, Aniston had to spend some time working odd jobs around New York City to support herself while she also worked on a few Off-Broadway productions. She was a telemarketer, a waitress and even a bike messenger in New York City for a time. She did really get her start until 1989, when she was a spokesmodel for Nutrisystem and she made an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. It was then she decided it was time to move back to California and try her hand at acting there.

Her first role in television came in 1990 when she was cast in a show that was very short-lived. She was in the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, which was great for her career. She also tried to star in two more comedies that did not work, as well as a few major Hollywood flops. She was at a point in her life when she’d failed to make her four television shows work and she was desperate. She approached Warren Littlefield at a gas station one time, asking him to validate her and tell her that she would be all right as far as her career was concerned. He encouraged her to keep it up and eventually helped her get her role on FRIENDS, which shot her into stardom almost immediately.

She was initially considered for the role of Monica, but the producers thought Courtney Cox was a better choice for that role, so they decided she’d make a great Rachel. She was cast and the pilot was filmed. She spent 10 years playing the role of Rachel Green. During this time, she made “The Rachel” the most famous hair cut of all time, and she helped to create the best line of all time, “We were on a break!”

During the last two seasons of the sitcom, she earned a staggering $1 million per episode, which only adds to her net worth. During her time on FRIENDS, she fell in love with a guest star on the show, a man by the name of Brad Pitt. The couple married in 2000 and divorced in 2005 after he cheated on the star with his Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie.

Her role on FRIENDS landed her several accolades. She was nominated for five Emmys and won one for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy. She was nominated for a few Golden Globe awards, and even won one in 2003. She and her other female co-stars were the highest-paid actresses on a television series of all time.

She didn’t just work on FRIENDs during the 90s, she also starred in several movies, which earned her millions. Over the next decade, she’d go on to star in dozens of movies that grossed more than $1 billion in the box offices worldwide. She starred opposite some of the biggest names in the world. Her annual earnings are estimated to be around $30 million for her various roles in television and film.

Her personal life includes close friendships with her old FRIENDS costars, and she’s engaged to actor Justin Theroux. She’s divorced from Brad Pitt and she had a previous engagement with actor Tate Donovan. Her divorce caused her to reach out to her mother after nearly a decade of not speaking after he mother said some unfavorable things about her in her memoir. She’s also a big fan of yoga. She has a net worth of more than $150 million and a hugely successful career both behind her and in front of her, and she’s not going anywhere anytime soon because her popularity just continues to grow.
