The Five Youngest Billionaires in the World

We all know that money is what makes the world go ’round. So, naturally, we want to see who some of the richest people in the world are.

But after Forbes released its Billionaires List recently, something shocking sort of happened—most of the 10-digit folks are actually between the ages of 31-40, proving that there are even more resources out there for people to get richer, faster. Who are the top earners, though? Keep reading and you’ll see for yourself.

5. Drew Houston (Age: 30)

Net Worth: $1.2 Billion

The founder of Dropbox—which we’re sure everyone reading this has either used or uses frequently—Drew Houston has built quite the empire for himself. Experimenting with startups since high school, Houston has grown his Dropbox company to an over $10 billion valuation, collecting more rounds of funding this past January to increase its worth even more—all while just exiting his twenties.

4. Anton Kathrein Jr. (Age: 29)

Net Worth: $1.35 Billion

It may not be as glamorous as a few of the other billionaires on this list, but antenna’s have been something that has been a family-owned business for going on three generations. Taking over his family’s business, Kathrein-Werke AG, following the unexpected death of his father in 2012, I’m sure Anton Kathrein Jr. is just fine living a quiet (and very rich) life.

3. Mark Zuckerberg (Age: 29)

Net Worth: $28.5 Billion

The guy who we can all thank for destroying and semblance of social privacy, Mark Zuckerberg is a pioneer in the online industry—whether you like him or hate him. Turning 30 in just a few months, Zuckerberg may have had a more wild than most of us had during the past decade, starting Facebook and becoming one of the richest people on the planet.

2. Dustin Moskovitz (Age: 29)

Net Worth: $6.8 Billion

The former roommate at Harvard of the aforementioned Zuckerberg, Dustin Moskowitz has proven to accomplish more than most 29 year old kids will in their entire life—fingers crossed that I’m not one of them. After leaving Facebook in 2008 to start yet another company, Asana, Moskowitz is just eight days younger than his former colleague at the social network—and a lot less rich—but still a billionaire.

1. Perenna Kei (Age: 24)

New Worth: $1.3 Billion

She may not have the name recognition as some of the others on this list, but the 24-year-old is already just as rich as most of them. Owning an 85 percent stake in Logan Property Holdings, the graduate of the University of London is also a non-executive director at the company—as well as the daughter of the CEO—meaning she has quite the life set up for her.
