Highlights of the Barrett-Jackson Car Auction

The 2014 Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas vehicle auction was bigger and better than ever, but only one vehicle gets to drive off with the knowledge that it was the highlight of the show. This particular vehicle, the 2006 Ford GT, is the most interesting car at the auction – far more so than the classics that were in attendance at this year’s auction.

What’s great about this particular vehicle auction is the fact that it doesn’t stop itself short of selling modern vehicles as so many other auctions do. There are very few auctions that will place bids on classic cars as well as modern cars, and the Barrett-Jackson auction is one of them, and it’s a good thing they are. This 2006 Ford GT is amazing. It’s a supercar, but it is one without hassle. Unlike some of the classic cars and the more expensive luxury sports cars, this one doesn’t require the kind of maintenance or cost that others require.

It’s a limited production vehicle, which does make it a little bit more exciting, and it’s very fast. Already a collectible, it’s the kind of car that is only going to become more valuable with time, which is a significant part of its allure for buyers at the auction. This particular vehicle has only 55 miles on it, and it’s practically brand new because of that fact. The price is more than $100,000 higher than it was when the vehicle was a new one, and the price is continuously on the rise. The vehicle was auctioned on September 27, and it was one of the most alluring vehicles at the auction. Why? Because it’s a collector car that hasn’t reached its full potential just yet. This means buyers can get it for a lot more than it was new, but a lot less than it will be worth in the future.
