The Five Most Expensive Safes on the Market

Biometrics Considered For National Identity Card

When it comes to protecting your most valuable possessions and documents (passports, bars of gold, luxury watches, etc.), you can’t risk keeping them out in the open where they’re prone to potential burglars and fire and water damage. Luckily, safes are the go-to option for people who want to protect their most prized possessions. But if you’re looking for something more than just a boring old steel box, then look no further. Below is a list of some of the most expensive luxury safes and all they have to offer. From the smallest safe in the world to a safe you can control from your iPad and smartphone, these luxury safes help make safety look good.

5. Doettling Colosimo – $22,100

For the luxury watch collector on the go, let me present to you the Doettling Colosimo. Weighing just under 29 pounds, the world’s smallest safe comes with the capability of holding three watches on charge at the same time. Clad in black leather and spikes (seriously), this safe is sure to make a statement.

4. Estate 7256 M COM – $27,712

If you happen to be looking for something bigger and with less pizzazz, look no further than the Estate 7256 double-door safe. The largest executive safe available, the Estate 7256 stands at 78 inches tall and weighs in at just under a quarter of a ton. With seven drawers, three shelves and space for 22 long guns, you’ll never have to worry again.

The Morphosis safe, a creation from the team of luxury watch and cabinet makers Hublot and Doettling, provides an array of sleek and modern touches. The safe includes a complete steel construction, two carbon fiber panels that are able to hold and wind 21 watches each, and the ability to control the safe’s functions from the owner’s iPad.

2. Kudoe, Schli and Matz “Gigantis” – $240,000

Not only does the aptly named “Gigantis” include an automatic watch winding panel for 60 watches, a cigar humidor, fireplace, TV, stereo and bar, but the safe can also be controlled entirely from a smartphone. Available in wood, leather, carbon fiber or fine fur (yes, fur) exteriors, this six foot tall “Gigantis” is like no other safe on the market.

1. The “Narcissus” – $336,000

The product of gifted designer Karl Lagerfeld, the most expensive safe in the world is a beautiful work of high-security. Made up of a high-gloss chrome plated aluminum interior, the “Narcissus” contains two handcrafted cabinets containing watch winders and drawers that open automatically upon recognition and activation from the owner. At six feet tall, one foot deep and weighing just under a ton, it’s also one of slimmest safes in the world.
