The Five Most Expensive Pairs of Jeans

jeans

It’s all in the jeans; it’s a saying that’s been passed down through generations, and although it’s referring to is what’s in your genetically made up genes rather than your demin ones, your actual jeans do make a statement. There’s nothing like a pair of well-cut, fitted jeans on any body. And it just so happens that the best jeans to wear are also some of the most expensive in the world.

Gucci, $3,100

One of the most well-known designers in the world is Gucci. The brand is more famous for their men’s suits, shoes and handbags than their jeans, but one pair of Gucci jeans is designed to really take their denim line above and beyond. Featuring African beads, feathers and crystals, these Gucci jeans were introduced on a runway in the late 90s and haven’t lost their popularity yet.

APO Jeans, $4,000

Jeans that only cost $4,000 seem like a bargain on this list. The pockets of this designer denim are made from silk and riveting. If you’re wondering what’s so special about that, the riveting is actually made of either gold, platinum or silver – it’s your choice. Additionally, each pair of jeans comes with a diamond instead of a button at the closure.

Escada, $10,000

Escada is a high-end luxury designer with a great reputation. Their jeans cost 10 grand because every customer is encouraged to create their own details on their jeans, which includes the option to adorn the denim with Swarovski crystals that bring the grand total of these designer jeans to $10,000. You can get them for a bit less, however, if you decide to use fewer crystals or none at all.

Dussault Apparel Thrashed Denim, $250,000

Dussault Apparel has created the perfect pair of jeans. Rather than wearing and washing them several times before they fit oh-so perfectly, these jeans are designed to look flawless from the start. You put them on and they immediately fit like a second skin. These jeans are washed and dyed 13 times before you ever see them on shelves, but that’s still not why they cost a quarter of a million dollars. Each pair features 16 1-carat rubies, 26 half-carat rubies and 8 half-carat diamonds.

Secret Circus, $1.3 Million

Made of your everyday denim, these jeans are dark wash and great for any shape and size, but that’s not what makes them worth more than a million dollars. What makes this pair of jeans so expensive is the design on the back pockets. Using several carats worth of flawless diamonds, the design is elaborate and still a little chic. Jeans might not be worth a million no matter how great they make you look, but diamonds are worth a lot.
