The World’s Most Expensive Car is Revealed

1

In the past few weeks there has been a gold-plated Lamborghini Aventador spotted cruising the streets of Paris, and it’s thought that this particular vehicle might be the world’s most expensive car. At the moment, no one knows to whom the vehicle belongs, though it’s thought that the luxe sports car belongs to a wealthy Middle Eastern man. These cars are most often found in the Middle East as they are a favorite daily driver for men from the UAE. They’re also driven regularly by wealthy playboys.

This particular Lambo has been spotted parked outside the Plaza Athenee, and it’s got some very distinct features. Aside from its gold-plating, it also has a Middle Eastern tag with the number 666 on it. Of course, this is an Aventador, not a Diablo – which would have been a much more appropriate tag for a Diablo since the word mean Devil in Spanish.

This gold Lambo features a 6.5-liter V12 with 692 horsepower. These vehicles tend to make an appearance in London and Paris during the summer months when wealthy Middle Eastern residents escape the heat of summer for a summer of fun in the sun and cooler weather. There’s been a gold-plated Ferrari spotted in London and several other gold vehicles all over the streets in the UK recently.

This particular vehicle is the most expensive on the road, clocking it a staggering $5.07 million. However, it’s not the most expensive Lamborghini ever designed. Last summer, the manufacturer produced a model Lamborghini Aventador in a Dubai showroom specifically for the company’s 50th anniversary and it was worth a much more expensive $7.5 million. However, no one is really sure where that car went or what happened to it – or if it’s even a vehicle that can be legally driven anywhere in the world.
