Paris is the place to be if you are a fan of Porsche. The new plug-in hybrid version of the completely restyled Cayenne SUV family is being unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The brand new SUV is sure to impress, with its completely redesigned body and interior, and its hybrid capabilities. It’s getting the luxury of going on the Porsche stand and being shown off with two other Porsche hybrids; the Panamera and the 918 Spyder.

The new SUV and the Panamera house the same technology. This includes a 333-horsepower V6 with an electric motor that boasts 95-horsepower. The impressive SUV can go a substantial distance with this motor in the electric mode. It takes only 5.9 seconds for this SUV to get from 0 to 60, which is impressive for a vehicle of this size and with an engine of this type. And when it’s time to let the battery charge, you can do it over a relaxing dinner or movie date because it takes only 2-and-a-half hours. This is, however, when you use an industrial outlet. Otherwise, you will need four hours for the standard outlet.

The wide grille remains the same, as well as the sheer luxury and upscale interior and sporty exterior that all Cayenne models feature. However, the new sports steering wheel is a huge difference for the luxe vehicle. Just after the Paris Motor Show ends, there will be approximately 5 versions of the Cayenne going on sale. Each one has its own features but a very similar overall look. The starting price for a new Cayenne begins at $86,250. The new hybrid cost is going to be around $106,500 to start. It’s a good price for a car that has so many different features. You can check it out in Paris at the impressive motor show.
