Saving on gas and going green are two of the trendiest things to do at the moment. They’re so trendy, in fact, that even the most high-end, upscale vehicle manufacturers in the world are getting in on the game by creating vehicles that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, but promise to save you money on fuel. Even the wealthiest people in the world don’t want to overspend on gas.
With that said, Lamborghini – one of the most luxurious designer vehicle manufacturers in the world – has unveiled its own plug-in hybrid. The concept is called the Asterion LPI-910-4, and it’s expected to be a big hit. The first Lamborghini Hybrid will debut at the 2014 Paris Mondial de l’Automobile. This is a vehicle that was designed and created completely in-house by the manufacturer – no outside designers were used to develop this concept. It uses the high-end technology that Lamborghini is famous for and the concept is derived entirely from the other vehicles in the lineup.
However, this new hybrid has all new technology that is completely innovative and top-of-the-line. It’s gotten a new design that’s nothing short of completely sensual, and it’s got some of the most technical features of any Lamborghini. It’s definitely a high-class car, which is what Lamborghini works hard to ensure.
“Lamborghini is always looking ahead, investing in new technologies and setting new benchmarks, delivering the unexpected,” is the quote given by the President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephen Winkelmann. The vehicle concept is one that isn’t common in high-end luxury lines such as Lamborghini, but the line is all about change and innovation, which is a benchmark philosophy for the company.
What’s imperative to remember is that this vehicle is, at this point, a concept that has no confirmation whether or not it will make it into production. Additionally, there is no word on pricing as yet.
