2015 Cadillac Escalade HPE550 Package Makes Performance SUV

Escalade

With automobile manufacturers rolling out the changes for their 2015 lineup, changes are apparent across the board and the Cadillac Escalade is no exception. The new 2015 Escalade is an SUV drivers dream. The American luxury vehicle features a 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter V8 and plenty of power. It doesn’t get any better than that unless you add the Hennessey Performance Engineering package, which brings the Escalade up to a completely new level.

Hennessey Performance Engineering and the 2015 Escalade

Cadillac introduces the new HPE550 package for 2015. This package takes the Escalade from a 420-horsepower SUV to a 557-horsepower SUV. The HPE package also includes 542 lb-ft of torque thanks to a supercharger with 6 psi. The upgrade to the HPE package is going to set buyers back several thousand additional dollars, but those purchasing the 2015 Escalade probably won’t mind the additional expense.

2015 Prices

While GM hasn’t said much in the way of what changes are coming to the 2015 Escalade, there have been some confirmed reports. While the overall body style hasn’t changed too much, there are some noticeable differences between the current body style and the one hitting the market shortly. A sleeker frame contains what is said to be a number of technological upgrades that far outweigh what the Escalade had to offer in its three previous generations.

As always, the Escalade comes in four versions. The regular 2WD and 4WD versions and the ESV 2WD and 4WD versions, and each one is priced differently. The regular 2WD standard Escalade is going to be the least expensive, starting at $72,690. Meanwhile, the ESV 4WD is the most expensive with the standard version starting at $78,290.

Each one comes in four different trims; standard, luxury, premium and platinum. The price changes to reflect the specific trim and packages chosen by buyers.
