Canadian singer-songwriter Justin Bieber is one of the most famous–or infamous–celebrities in the world today. Known more for being a media punching bag in recent years, the 20-year-old tabloid fixture has had a number of ups and downs over the course of his six-year career. However, his fans still love and adore him, helping Bieber maintain one of the world’s highest social networking profiles and a net worth of  over $200 million. In 2010, Bieber embarked on his very first headlining tour–the My World Tour–in support of his two-part debut album, My World and My World 2.0. The tour, which trekked across North America, South America, Asia, and Europe over the course of 15 months, reportedly grossed $53.34 million worldwide. The tour featured a 17-song setlist, while the New York City show was filmed for Bieber’s 3D movie Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, which grossed over $99 million worldwide. The My World Tour’s “Ultimate Justin Bieber VIP Experience” package went for $349.50 and included one premium top tier reserved seat ticket, entry into the Justin Bieber pre-show VIP soundcheck, entry into the official Justin Bieber VIP pre-show party, one autographed Justin Bieber photobook or program, one exclusive Justin Bieber VIP gift bag, one limited edition VIP laminate and matching lanyard, one commemorative souvenir concert ticket, VIP preferred parking, VIP priority check-in, and a separate VIP entrance.

Less than one year after the My World Tour wrapped, Bieber embarked on his second headlining concert tour, the Believe Tour, in support of his third studio album, Believe. Beginning in September 2012, the tour played more than 150 shows throughout North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Europe, and Australasia before concluding in December 2013. In 2013, the tour placed 5th on Pollstar’s “Top 100 Worldwide Tours – Mid Year” list and grossed a total of $209.2 million worldwide (just under four times the amount of Bieber’s first world tour). The concert tour was relatively well-received by critics and was a financial smash–the Madison Square Garden show is rumored to have sold out in 22 seconds. For the Believe Tour, the ultimate “Justin Bieber VIP Meet & Greet Experience” package cost $650 and included one top-price reserve floor ticket in the first five rows, one group meet and greet with Justin Bieber, one group photo opportunity with Justin Bieber, one autographed vinyl copy of Believe, one entry into the official pre-show VIP party (which included a separate VIP lounge with food, drinks, pre-show prizes, giveaways, and pre-show party music), VIP priority check-in, a separate VIP entrance, one exclusive Justin Bieber gift bag, a Justin Bieber tour program or photobook, one limited edition Justin Bieber VIP laminate and lanyard, one commemorative concert ticket, and exclusive VIP merchandise.

Named the ninth most powerful celebrity in the world in 2013 by Forbes magazine, Bieber has been nominated for two Grammy Awards and has won seven American Music Awards, nine MTV Europe Music Awards, 11 Billboard Music Awards, and 15 Teen Choice Awards. Bieber also has 56.2 million Twitter followers and has the second most-watched YouTube video of all-time with his “Baby” music video (over 1.1 billion views).
