Josh Duggar Net Worth – $200,000

Josh Duggar is an American reality television star with an estimated net worth of approximately $200 thousand. He is the eldest son of the Duggar family, known for their hit reality television show 19 Kids and Counting. He rose to fame several years ago when his family signed up to take part in a reality television show that documents their way of life, which is interesting to the American Public. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, parents to Josh, are a devout Christian family with very specific religious ideals. Their kids are brought up in a very strict Christian household in which they are not permitted to take part in many of the extracurricular activities that typical children do.

Josh was brought up in a strict household and not permitted to date. He was only allowed to court when his family chose a ‘suitable’ young woman from a similar religious background for him to court. What this means is that he was allowed to take Anna, his now-wife, on supervised dates. They could take siblings, parents, other relatives with them. They were not permitted to touch in any way other than to give one another a one arm side hug. Their first kiss was shared on their wedding day. The couple is now married and recently welcomed their fourth child.

Josh’s parents have 19 kids. They believe that birth control is not something that they want to use, allowing God to take control in every aspect of their life. The family uses the method of enlisting the help of their older children to raise their younger children, calling it a buddy system and actively taking part in their children’s lives while allowing their older kids to become the primary caregivers to their younger children.

Born in 1988, Josh is the oldest of the Duggar family children. He was homeschooled, graduating at 16 and reportedly attending some college classes. He now works for the FRC, but recently resigned from his position amid allegations that he is a child molester. The family man was viewed in a positive light until sources recently came forward alleging that the reality star behaved inappropriately with as many as five young girls when he was a teenager. The family later came forward and announced that two of their daughters, Jill and Jessa, were among his victims. They claimed that they did not know they were molested as children as they were asleep when it happened and the touching only occurred over their clothes.

The family hid Josh’s issues and felt that they took care of the issue by sending him away to camp for a few months and by installing locks on all the doors in the house and not allowing two children to be alone together at any time. Just weeks following those allegations, Josh Duggar faced even more issues when he was leaked as one of the many men who had a secret Ashley Madison account – the website that allows married men and women to find ‘dates’ without their spouses finding out. He admitted to cheating on his wife and suffering a pornography addiction, and he felt it was best to resign from his position with the FRC. His family’s reality television show was cancelled, and now the world is left wondering what they, and Josh, will do next to earn a living.
