Reality King Ryan Seacrest Is More Than Just A Radio Host

Everyone knows who Ryan Seacrest is; he is the busiest man in Hollywood. Aside from his long-standing host position on American Idol, he’s also the host of his own radio show, he’s a producer and he’s the man with a million jobs. There’s nothing Ryan Seacrest can’t do, and it seems everything he touches turns instantly into gold – or millions of dollars and a huge success, anyway.

Career

Before he was chosen as a host of American Idol back in 2002, Ryan Seacrest had already spent his fair share of time on television, hosting shows and appearing as a host on television series. It wasn’t until Idol, however, that he was put into the national spotlight and his real career began to take shape. He is the highest paid reality television host in the world. Following his Idol fame, the host took on the job of hosting the American Top 40 station in 2004, also taking on the job of morning talk show host. He then followed up by becoming the host of the New Year’s Rockin Eve in 2005. In 2006, the reality star became a host and producer on E! News and he began his own production company, Ryan Seacrest Productions.

Since becoming a producer, Seacrest has gone on to produce some of the most popular shows around, including Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, Shahs of Sunset, Married to Jonas and a few others.

Income

It was recently reported that Ryan Seacrest signed a new 2-year contract to continue hosting American Idol for a reported $30 million. However, that doesn’t even come close to what he earns each year thanks to his Ryan Seacrest Productions. It’s been reported that his production company brings in approximately $45 million per year, largely due the Kardashian’s and everyone’s continued interest in their lives.
