Kevin Jonas Net Worth

Kevin Jonas

Kevin Jonas is an American musician and actor with an estimated net worth of $18 million. He is the oldest brother of the Jonas Brothers a pop rock band that became a global sensation.

Paul Kevin Jonas II was born on November 5, 1987 in Teaneack, NJ. His mother, Denise, is a former sign language teacher and singer, and his father, Paul, is a songwriter, musician, and ordained minister. He has three brothers, former bandmates, Nick and Joe, and his youngest brother Frankie.

The Jonas Brothers were signed by Daylight/Columbia Records after new president, Steve Greenberg, heard a song “Please Be Mine”. They released their first album in 2006 on a limited release of only 50,000. The label ended up dropping the band a year later.

They would soon be signed by Hollywood Records and go on to release three albums (numbers 2, 3, and 4 of their catalog) that would reach #5, #1 and #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. After the mess that was their first album, It’s About Time, the group rebounded successfully. Their second self-titled album, Jonas Brothers, was released in August of 2007 and reached number five on the Billboard 200 chart in its first week. Their third album, A Little Bit Longer, hit number one on the charts solidifying the group as a premier money maker in music. The fourth album continued that trend. Lines, Vines, and Trying Times also reached #1 on the Billboard 200 and sold 247,000 copies early after release.  On May 12, 2012 the brothers left the label and purchased the rights to their music.

Aside from his music, Kevin has a small acting career. He’s made a guest appearances on Hannah Montana and featured, with his brothers, in a Disney Channel Original Movie entitled Camp Rock. The episode in which the Jonas Brothers appeared on Hannah Montana broke basic cable records with 10.7 million viewers and became basic cables most watched telecast ever at the time.  All four brothers eventually received a contract for a Disney television series entitled JONAS, which premiered in May of 2009.

Lately, Kevin appears alongside his wife Danielle Deleasa in a Ryan Seacreast production on E! called Married to Jonas. The show is well-received by the public and being a Seacrest production certainly generates series money for Kevin.

Currently, the Jonas Brothers are no longer working together due to creative differences. Kevin has made attempts to build a solo career, but nothing has developed on that front as of right now. Jonas does not have significant assets in outside business activity and it is safe to assume that his television series won’t last forever. Thus, Kevin Jonas and his brothers will most likely be looking at a reunion and production of more music if he wishes to grow his net worth. As it stands today, his net worth is a reflection of the wild success of the Jonas Brothers 3 major studio albums. The catalog produced enough revenue to build his net worth, which is not supported by his current reality TV series. We will monitor where Jonas’ net worth goes over the next few years.
