Let the rift continue! Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather just don’t like each other. It’s that simple. Mayweather makes fun of anyone who doesn’t make as much money as him. He’s consistently trading barbs with the UFC champ, and frankly it seems that the two may never actually do anything about it. Mayweather acted as if he didn’t even know Rousey’s name when she won an ESPY that he clearly wanted. He talks trash about how much money he makes.
Then Rousey was asked if she could take Mayweather in a fight. In a no rules fight Rousey said she’d take Mayweather. And just recently? Rousey had a little money statement to share with Mr. Mayweather. Remember when Mayweather said “When you make $300MM a fight you can call me?”
Ronda Rousey decided to go in on Floyd Mayweather after he made that statement. Her return quip? “I actually did the math and, given the numbers of my last fight, I’m actually the highest-paid UFC fighter, and I’m a woman. I think I actually make two to three times more than he does per second…so when he learns to read and write, he can text me.”
Yikes. People are well aware that Mayweather has actual trouble in the reading department so this thing’s getting ugly. Can we just set up the Paperview bout already?
