Being a prince is hard work. The misconception that royals spend their time sitting on a throne, wearing elaborate jewels and partying with their royal friends is a myth. They spend countless hours going over politics, the economy and spending countless hours making public appearances and working for charities. Even the world’s wealthiest princes do this. Read on to find out which princes are the wealthiest.

Prince Albert – $1 billion

Prince Albert is the famed prince of Monaco, which is one of the most upscale countries in the world. He has a net worth of $1 billion. He’s the reigning head of state right now, and he’s also the head of the House of Grimaldi. He’s the owner of several companies and makes much of his fortune outside his family career path.

Andrea Casiraghi – $1.7 billion

He’s the son of Princess Caroline of Monaco and he’s the grandson of Grace Kelly. He’s not quite as wealthy as his sister, but with nearly $2 billion to his name, he’s not doing so badly. He’s the oldest son and oldest child in the family, and he was raised doing his own chores and very much out of the public eye.

Prince Hans-Adam II – $3.3 billion

He’s the prince of Liechtenstein and he’s worth several billion dollars. He’s been the reigning prince of his country since 1989, and he’s a family owned managed for a private wealth group. He’s known for being an extensive art collector on top of a royal prince.

Sheik Hamdan bin Mohammed  – $18 billion

To shorten this royal prince’s name, you can just call him the Crown Prince of Dubai. Not only is he exceptionally wealthy, he adores poetry. He’s one who spends a great deal of time in the public eye, and he’s still a famous bachelor for any interested women.

Prince Azim – $40 billion

He is one of the youngest children of the king of Brunei, and he has inherited his father’s fortune. His father was once the richest man in the world according to Forbes, and he has since passed on his fortune to his 12 children. The young prince of Brunei is now worth an estimated $40 billion.
