Bob Saget is an American actor, comedian and television host who has a net worth of approximately $100 million. Saget is widely-known for his role as Danny Tanner on the hit 90s television series Full House.
Robert Lane Saget was born on May 17, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pa. His mother, Rosalyn, was a hospital administrator and his father, Benjamin, was a supermarket executive. Saget began his stand up comedy on national tours around 1997. Around that same time he became co-host of The Morning Program, an attempt by CBS to take morning programming in a different direction – Saget wrote and produced content on the program.
Saget’s big career move came when he was cast as Danny Tanner on the hit television show Full House. Two years after being cast on the show he was also tabbed to host America’s Funniest Home Videos. Full House ran for eight years until May 23, 1995. After the end of the show, Saget stepped out of the spotlight for several years until he returned to stand-up comedy and performing as the narrator for the hit show How I Met Your Mother.
