China’s sixth St. Regis hotel is slated to open next month in Chengdu.  The St. Regis Chengdu will be the 32nd St. Regis hotel in the world. Like all St. Regis hotels, the Chengdu location is located in a high-end, upscale location of Chengdu. Guests of the hotel will enjoy its proximity to the designer shops on Chun Xi Road as well as Tianfu Square. Located in the Huazghi Plaza, the hotel will feature 29-stories. The rest of the building will house residential homes, shopping and businesses.

“We look forward to unveiling The St. Regis Chengdu, with its promise of exceptional service standards and refined elegance that will offer a new benchmark for modern luxury, flawless service and classic sophistication that has yet to be seen in Chengdu,” is the statement offered by the General Manager of the St. Regis Chengdu, Richard Deutl.

The all new St. Regis Chengdu offers 279 high-end guestrooms, the Signature St. Regis Butler service, and six restaurants. Additionally, the Chengdu location is slated to offer anticipatory service to guests as well as personalized service. The goal of the hotel is to customize every guest’s stay so that it fits in with their tastes, expectations, desires and travel plans. It’s said to be a high-end personal service that will make a business and/or pleasure stay that much more enjoyable.

Guests who book a room at the St. Regis Chengdu may be surprised to find that the hotel is modeled after the Art Deco period of the 1920s. This represents the time the flagship St. Regis location opened in New York City, celebrating the introduction of an entirely new class of upscale luxury and appeal. It will also feature designs that infuse traditional Szechuan culture as well as local Chengdu flair. The combination is sure to be dramatic, elegant and classically chic.
