The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage Officially Unveils Desert Chic

Today marks a brand new introduction to the Ritz-Carlton family, the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage hotel, which opened its doors in beautiful Palm Springs. The Rancho Mirage location marks the fourth Ritz-Carlton hotel in California, joining those in nearby areas such as Los Angeles and Orange County. What makes this particular resort special, however, is the flawless attention to detail and unique design that incorporates southern California’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle with a sense of desert chic.

Palm Springs, being the cultural haven that it is, embraces the Ritz-Carlton with its mountain views and desert-like feeling. The hotel sits atop a 650-foot bluff with uninterrupted views of the surrounding area. The landscape is carefully indigenous to the area and the incorporation of natural amenities and indoor/outdoor access is second to none. Integrated water features offer simple sounds and fire and light attractions make for excitement and an even closer feeling to nature. There are 244 guest rooms, each one large and welcoming, and filled with upscale amenities. With more than 15 treatment rooms, a fitness center and a whirlpool located outside, there’s nothing missing from this state-of-the-art spa.

Furthermore, guests will find three swimming pools, a kids program, a children’s movie theater, several meeting spaces and naturally, an upscale restaurant. State Fare Bar and Kitchen is as upscale as they come. With a comprehensive menu featuring fresh foods from the area as well as a fireplace and breathtaking views as well as walk-in wine rooms, there is nothing missing from the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage. Even though there is not a golf course on site, the hotel has exclusive access to the premier courses in Palm Springs, as well as access to all the luxury shopping you’ll find in the area.
