San Diego’s unique Relais & Chateaux resort, Rancho Valencia, just revealed the final phase of a $30 million renovation earlier this year to celebrate 25 years of excellency. The resort alone offers such a distinctive beauty and feel to it that it could draw guests with it’s majesty alone. In case you’re not easily impressed perhaps you can be lured in with some tequila.
The resorts Pony Room bar offers tequila lovers one of the finest collections of over 100 agave-based spirits including tequila, mezcal, bacanora and sotol. There are many ways to experience the spendor of agave at the Rancho Valencia. There’s a tasting tour, the “All Agave Club”, and a membership club that offers a tour plus other perks like swag, education seminars at the resort, and special member’s only pricing.
Now we get that this may be too late because Cinco de Mayo is only a couple days away, but work quickly to get on bored with this Tequila program. You don’t necessarily have to stay at the resort, but we suggest you do.
