Anyone who’s made a food reservation online is quite familiar with OpenTable by now. And you can bet that with Mother’s day approaching people will be using the service more than ever this year. However, finding the perfect setting for mom isn’t always the easiest choice. Thankfully this year, OpenTable has released winners for the Top 100 Brunch Restaurants in America. The awards reflect the combined opinions of more than 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for approximately 19,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
“This year’s winning restaurants have recognized that brunch has become a national pastime for diners across America,” said Caroline Potter, OpenTable Chief Dining Officer. “With delightful, handcrafted cocktails and fresh and flavorful dishes that range from comfortingly familiar to deliciously adventurous, the best brunch restaurants have created the ideal meal at which to celebrate the weekend, as well as special occasions.”
The results spanned over 28 states and the cuisine highlighted for the picked spots is mostly American. All restaurants with a minimum number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then sorted according to a score calculated from each restaurant’s average rating in the “brunch” category along with a minimum “overall” rating.
