Before her September 29 fashion show in Paris during fashion week, designer Stella McCartney has been working with Jaguar, the most iconic automobile manufacturer in all of England, to create something special. The designer partnered with Jag to roll out the brand new Jaguar XE. Both of these upscale luxury brands have come together to create something new and exciting, and something that’s never before been seen in the world of automobiles. What they’ve created is something called the FEEL XE Experience.
The fleet consists of several luxury Stella McCartney designed Jags each covered in her Spring 2015 Collection Superhero print. The vehicles were on the streets of Paris on the 29th of September to give people a FEEL of the EX. The experience is designed to provide VIP clients with a luxe taste of what the two luxury brands have to offer – especially the highlights of the line.
McCartney addressed the press about her collaboration with Jag, which is something she’s never done before. “Jaguar is a British brand that’s full of heritage, charm and one that I’ve admired for years so it’s a pleasure to be finally working directly with them. It was interesting to adapt my playful Superhero print for the XE, adding a feeling of empowerment to its exhilarating design – I can’t wait to see it on the streets of Paris,” she said of the line of luxury vehicles.
The concept was something born several months ago when the vehicle manufacturer wanted to do something special to highlight the introduction of its new line of XE vehicles. The idea to collaborate with a world famous designer only adds to the appeal of the design, and makes it that much more interesting to fans. Doing it during fashion week in Paris is just one way to guarantee that the car does not go unnoticed.
