The McLaren 675LT Supercar will Debut in Geneva

McLaren 675LT

British automobile manufacturer McLaren has been making some truly magnificent automobiles recently. The company has always been known as a strong sport/racing company, but their newest vehicles are just so astonishing. McLaren wowed us with the P1, and now they are planning to add another vehicle to their impressive lineup: the McLaren 675LT.

Back in the 1990’s when McLaren introduced the F1 and its variants, the company began experimenting with extending the vehicle. To increase grip and aerodynamics, McLaren elongated the body of some F1’s and they called it the Long Tail. These vehicles proved to be very successful, and the new 675LT is keeping that tradition alive.

While we do not know too much about the McLaren 675LT, we do know that McLaren will officially unveil the vehicle in March at the Geneva Motor Show. The 675LT will be the companies “mid-range” vehicle, positioned in-between the 650S and the P1. Even though its “mid-range”, it is still shaping up to be a fantastic supercar. This leaked image above shows what the vehicle will look life. While there are not any stats relating to performance unfortunately, it is believed that the car will have 666bhp when it comes out, channeling the forces of the devil. Jokes aside, McLaren promises that this car will be all about agility, grip, performance, and speed like its predecessor.

McLaren will also be officially unveiling the P1 GTR, a higher-performing, ultra limited, tack-only version of the regular P1. It’s basically a hyper-car on steroids. With the introduction of these two new vehicles at the Geneva Motor Show, McLaren might steal the show from the competition. The McLaren 675LT should be available for sale sometime later in 2015 if everything goes according to plan. We will hopefully find out more details soon.
