Prada lovers beware: Harrods of London is making your Prada dreams come true. During the month of May, the entire fourth floor of the iconic Harrods Knightsbridge location is transforming into Pradasphere. The entire floor is being dedicated to the high-end fashion house’s designs, history and collections. If you’re a lover of the Prada label, you’ll want to make an appearance at this monumental event.
As told by Harrods’ fashion director to British Vogue, “Pradasphere will transport our customer into the fabulous world of Prada here at Harrods, marrying two brands synonymous with luxury, design and creativity.” Two of the most famous fashion faces will spend the entire month of May together, celebrating this iconic Italian design house and all its creations.
One aspect of Pradasphere that will interest luxury lovers is the capsule collection, which is being unveiled specifically for this event at Harrods. The collection is going to feature collections from the ready-to-wear line that includes everything from handbags to shoes and everything in between. Each of the pieces displayed in the collection comes straight from Prada archives, as the brand’s creative director, Miuccia Prada, used the archives for her personal inspiration.
The fourth floor will also include two other interesting creations. The first is the exhibition of the Prada collection from the past and present. The exhibition will feature past collaborations from the Prada line, classic collections, modern collections, and some of Prada’s experiments, known and unknown to the public. Additionally, the event will also include a Pradasphere Café. Shoppers have the option to select a decadent treat or two from the café as it pops up around the perimeter of the fourth floor, inviting shoppers to sit and take in the unique Prada experience with your full range of senses. The exhibition runs from May 2-29.
