Ronda Rousey is the most famous MMA fighter in the world with an estimated net worth of $6 million dollars.   Rousey was born on February 1, 1987 in Riverside County, California.  She comes from a martial arts background as her mother was the very first American woman to win a World Judo Championship.   In 2004 Rousey qualified for the Olympic Games at only the age of seventeen.  She was the youngest judo competitor at the competition.   Rowdy Ronda became the first American athlete to win two Junior World medal and then proceeded to become the first American to win a medal in Judo.  Rousey won the bronze at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

In 2010 she began her professional MMA career and quickly become known for her ability to beat opponents in record time (usually under a minute) due to her signature arm bar move.  Rousey says this is her move because when she was growing up her mother used to jump on her every morning to wake her up with an arm bar.  She became the Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion in 2011, and then moved to the UFC, where she became the first Women’s Bantamweight Champion in 2012.

She successfully defended her UFC title in February 2013 and April 2014.   Rousey has also appeared in “The Expendables 3″ and “Fast and Furious 7″.  On February 28, 2015, Rousey defeated Cat Zingano with an armlock in 14 seconds. Ronda earned $65,000 to show up, $65,000 for the win plus an estimated $1 million Pay Per View bonus.  Also in her most recent bout with Bethe Correia, Rousey earned another $40,000 from her Reebok sponsorship and estimates of close to $100,000 just for being there, and we’re still unsure of her Pay Per View bonus which is sure to be in the 7 figures.
