Chris Kirkpatrick Net Worth

Christopher Alan Kirkpatrick is a singer and entertainer known for his role in the world-famous boy band singing group, ‘N Sync, and he has a net worth of approximately $13 million. Born in 1971 in Pennsylvania, the young Kirkpatrick knew he wanted to entertain, but he wasn’t sure how to go about doing it at such a young age. He began performing as a child and even went on to showcase his exceptional talents singing in college, where he attended classes at Rollins College. It wasn’t until after those days, however, that he hit it big in the boy band industry.

Growing up in Pennsylvania wasn’t something that Kirkpatrick did for long. His family soon moved to Ohio, where he graduated high school. Once he was done with high school, he made a big move to Orlando where he began attending classes at Rollins College, and where he began his career as a singer. He was part of the Doo Wop group at Universal Studios, and he was a table bus boy at a local Outback Steakhouse until he began his real career. Interestingly enough, Kirkpatrick wanted to be a Backstreet Boy, but he was not selected for the group. That is when he approached Orlando businessman Lou Pearlman (famous for his many legal battles later on) and asked him to financially back a second boy band, and Pearlman agreed if Kirkpatrick could form a group.

‘N Sync was formed with Kirkpatrick approached Joey Fatone, a friend he worked with at Universal. The two met with Pearlman, who showed them a tape of Justin Timberlake performing with the Mickey Mouse club, and Timberlake suggested fellow club-goer JC Chasez, and they were later joined by Lance Bass. The boys spent the next three years working primarily overseas before making it big in America, where their careers took off. That’s when it was revealed that Lou Pearlman was withholding more than 50% of their holdings.

The group broke up in 2002 with each of the members of the band doing their own thing. Kirkpatrick has not seen the success that stars such as Justin Timberlake have seen, but he did earn a well-received spot on “Gone Country” where he wrote and sang a country song that was considered exceptionally talented. The vast majority of Kirkpatrick’s net worth comes from his time as a boy band singer and the royalties he receives from that. Additionally, he’s created a career for himself using his voice in a different manner, which also adds to his net worth. He’s the voice of Chip Skylark on the popular animated series “The Fairly Oddparents,” which is also a lucrative position.

The band joined forces once again in 2013 when they performed together at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, in which fans began to hope for a reunion. It’s been said that the reason that the group decided to break up was that Timberlake wanted to pursue a personal career as a solo artist, which has worked out quite well for him. In the time since the band has broken up, Kirkpatrick married his longtime girlfriend and has been working away.
