Alan Greenspan is most famous for his role as the Former Chairman of the Federal Reserve of the United States, and he has a net worth of $10 million. He is known for being an economist. He Went to Juilliard
Juilliard is famous for being a school for the arts, not for finance and economics. For this reason, it’s always a bit of a surprise when people learn that Greenspan actually studied here for several years. Though he never took his talent for the arts any further than Juilliard, he did attend school here for a while, studying the clarinet and saxophone.
He Graduated NYU
The economist didn’t spend too long at Juilliard studying the arts, however, he eventually went on to study at New York University, learning the art of finance and what that entails. It was the first step to his future career, which would earn him millions of dollars and a very prestigious job title for many years.
He Has Four Degrees
Alan Greenspan is a very educated man with four college degrees, all from NYU. However, one of his degrees is actually an honorary degree bestowed upon him from the college. This doctorate was given to him in 2005 in December.
He’s Been Married Twice
He’s currently married to a woman he met and married in 1997, but before his wife became his wife, he was married to an artist. The marriage lasted less than a year before they decided to split and ultimately file for divorce.
He Writes in the Tub
Alan Greenspan has published a book. It was his memoir and in it he talked about and praised several former presidents. He also admitted that he hurt his back in the 1970s and has since decided he’s most comfortable writing from his bathtub.
