Dominator Yachts has been working on a super secret project for the last few years and is finally revealing what all of their hard work has created: The Dominator D26 M Ilumen Yacht. This beautiful and state of the art luxury yacht will finally be ready to be unveiled at the 2014 Cannes Yacht festival later this year.
This high end yacht is unique as the designer, Alberto Mancini, wanted to combine the interior elegance and space of a larger super yacht, but fit it into a smaller form factor. The main bedroom of the vessel is 323 square feet, while the yacht itself is just under 85 feet in length. The main bedroom also has access to a private terrace which is located at the bow of the vessel. Mancini also did an excellent job of designing the yacht to bring together the outside world and the interior of the boat. Many rooms of the yacht have massive windows which curve with the shape of the vessel. Mancini also did a brilliant job of manipulating the feel of the rooms through the various windows found throughout the yacht. Mancini wanted people to be able to see the ocean from nearly every room on the yacht.
The interior decor of The Dominator is a luxurious modern style that rivals most homes. Dominator always has the consumer in their mind and they allow prospective consumers to customize nearly everything inside the yacht: the tile, the cabinets, the color schemes, etc.. The Dominator features a highly advanced engine system that uses a combination of diesel and electric to propel the vessel through the water. The control system is also state-of-the-art and provides the captain with a variety of features at his disposal such as thermal cameras for nighttime operation and a 360 degree view of the ocean using cameras (270 degrees are through windows, the cameras make up the difference).
The hull of the vessel is made of a high grade carbon fiber that makes the boat weigh considerably less. The boat also features significant sound reduction and noise elimination; their is soundproofing nearly everywhere ensuring minimal engine sound. This yacht was designed for the highest amounts of luxury in mind, and Dominator Yachts have created a brilliant vessel. Dominator will tell us even more at the 2014 Cannes Yacht Festival this coming September.
