Founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1775, Breguet is a high-end manufacturer of luxury watches, time pieces, writing instruments, and jewelry operating out of Switzerland. The company is well-respected and known for their incredible products which are some of the nicest in their class. Breguet is best known for their watches, and they have recently just added another terrific timepiece to their line-up: The Automatique Seconde Rétrograde 7097.

This new watch from Breguet is yet another amazing, high-end timepiece that will surely please all. The Automatique Seconde Rétrograde 7097 is the newest addition in Breguet’s “Tradition Collection”, which contains some of their most famous timepieces. The watch is obviously very premium and attractive looking. Breguet wanted to show people the inner workings of this watch, which is why we see that actually time telling part of the watch up top. Underneath we see the amazing mechanical movements that the engineers at Breguet meticulously assemble by hand. The watch features a retrograde seconds hand and a self-winding movement.

Only premium materials are used on their watches, and we see that here as well. The watch itself is cased in 18 karat white gold and features Sapphire glass not only on the front, but on the back as well. The hours are measured on the dial that has the Roman numerals while the minutes are shown on the dial located at 12 o’clock. The watch is also waterproof up to 98 feet, although I probably wouldn’t swim with it. Breguet has not revealed how much this watch will cost, however it won’t be cheap as their prices range anywhere between a few thousand dollars, to well over $140,000 thousand dollars. More details will be available at Baselworld, a watch show where manufactures show off their latest creations, which will take place during March of this year.
