The 10 Most Expensive Hublot Watches

The Most Expensive Hublot Watches

Out of all the Swiss watchmaking brands that are out there, Hublot continues to be one of the most popular and loved brands to-date. Many of these Swiss brands can trace their roots as a company to before the turn of the century, but that’s not the case for Hublot. They did not first start making timepieces until they were founded in 1980, but despite their relatively young age as a brand, they have quickly propelled themselves to be an industry leader. Any given watch from Hublot is going to be very expensive, but which one’s standout as some of the most valuable? Here are the ten most expensive Hublot watches that the brand has created over the years, and you will be shocked by just how expensive they can actually get.

Hublot Classic Fusion Zirconium

10. The Classic Fusion Zirconium – $160,000

At first glance the Classic Fusion Zirconium timepiece from Hublot seems fairly straightforward, but it’s original price tag of $160,000 dollars will make your head spin. Hublot is known for using “unique” materials for their watches, and as the name implies, the case of this watch is made from zirconium. The timepiece measures out to be 45 millimeters in diameter and it sports large lugs on the bezel that give it a modern, industrial appearance that is also minimalistic in nature. The self-winding watch features a chronograph, a 42-hour power reserve, and a strap that’s made from rubber, like many Hublot pieces.

Hublot Tourbillon Solo Bang

9. The Tourbillon Solo Bang – $170,000

The Tourbillon Solo Bang from Hublot is next up on our list with a price of $170,000 dollars. This timepiece follows a  design language similar to the Classic Fusion Zirconium and other Hublot pieces. It has a familiar industrial/utilitarian design that sounds unappealing on paper, but works well in reality. The 44mm timepiece is made from ceramic and platinum and it features sapphire crystal glass, a manual HUB 1050GD movement, a single visible tourbillon, and a black rubber strap. That watch was available in either with a silver case and black bezel or in all-black, and only 50 examples were made.

Hublot Classic Pink Gold and Diamonds

8. The Classic Pink Gold and Diamonds – $180,000

Take just one look at the Hublot Classic Pink Gold and Diamonds timepiece, and you instantly will realize that you have an expensive watch on your hands. The case of the timepiece, as the name implies, is made from 18-karat rose gold that is then encrusted with a plethora of diamonds. It features a self-winding quartz movement and your standard Hublot features, but the real draw here are the materials used. However interestingly enough, Hublot still uses a rubber strap despite the watch being made from gold and diamonds. I know that is their “thing”, but would it hurt to throw on an alligator leather strap on a watch that costs $180,000 dollars?

Hublot Tourbillon Big Date Power Reserve Indicator

7. The Tourbillon Big Date Power Reserve Indicator – $200,000

With it’s all-black appearance and the distinct Hublot design language, the Tourbillion Big Date Power Reserve Indicator is another exceptional timepiece from the brand, and one of the most expensive at $200,000 dollars. The case of the timepiece is constructed from platinum while the bezel is made from black ceramic. As the name implies, the watch has a large date indicator below the 12 o’clock position and a larger power reserve that can last up to five days. Like many pieces from Hublot, this watch also has a rubber strap and large lugs that are found throughout the piece.

hublot big bang king

6. The Big Bang King – $250,000

At $250,000 dollars we have now reached the point where these timepieces cost as much as a new Ferrari or Lamborghini, so they’re quite expensive to say the least. The Big Bang King features a black ceramic case, sapphire glass, a self-winding manual movement, a rubber strap, a massive 120-hour power reserve, a tourbillon, and more. The watch is also waterproof up to 328-feet, however I can’t imagine many owners of this watch go diving while wearing it.

hublot bigger bang

5. The Bigger Bang – $260,000

We have another watch from Hublot’s Big Bang line, and it’s the Bigger Bang. This timepiece offers more distinct features compared to the previous model. It’s a skeletonized timepiece that features 262 different components, a five day power reserve, sapphire glass, a flying tourbillon, 33 rubies, a rubber strap, and more. Additionally it was the first watch that featured a column wheel chronograph, which sets it apart from other timepieces within this price range.

Hublot Bigger Bang Diamond Tourbillon Limited Edition

4. Hublot Bigger Bang Diamond Tourbillon – $290,000

While the standard Bigger Bang is a great timepiece in its own right, Hublot wanted to make a few that were a bit more “special”. The watch offers pretty much all of the features seen on the standard Bigger Bang timepiece, with the obvious addition of diamonds. The case of the watch is lined with 212 small diamonds and the bezel features an additional 48 baguette-cut diamonds. That alone racks up the price of this watch, and then you take in the fact that they only made 18 examples and suddenly you realize why it’s so expensive.

Hublot Masterpiece MP-02

3. The Masterpiece MP-02 – $305,000

Hublot’s Masterpiece MP-02 timepiece marks a distinct change in it’s design that not only separates itself from other Hublot pieces, but from all other watches as well. Constructed from black titanium, the Masterpiece MP-02’s prized feature is it’s ability to change the way it reads the time. In the standard mode it tells the time accurately, then there’s a “slow” mode where every quarter hour indicates the passing of 1 hour, and then a “fast” setting where every 15 minutes  in real time is indicated by the change of one hour on the watch. If you think this is a silly feature, well it is actually. But the point of it is that the complication and mechanics involved to allow the watch to do this are quite elaborate. Basically Hublot is showing off here.

Hublot Black Caviar Bang

2. The Black Caviar Bang – $1 Million

With the price of $1 million dollars we have left the realm of “ultra high-end” timepieces and have entered into “expensive for the sake of being expensive” timepieces with the Black Caviar Bang. While the roots of this watches design are somewhat similar to the other timepieces from Hublot’s Big Bang series, this watch is quite different. The timepiece features a leather strap, a visible tourbillon, Hublot’s standard movement for their Big Bang watches, but the real appeal here is what the watch is made from. The Black Caviar Bang starts with a case made from 18-karat white gold. Found throughout the watch are 544 black baguette-cut diamonds that weigh in at 34.5-carats, and that’s exactly why this timepiece costs $1 million dollars. The watch even won the coveted Grand Prix de Geneva Jewelry Watch award back in 2009.

Hublot $5 Million

1. The Hublot $5 Million – $5 Million

Simply known as the “Hublot $5 Million”, the last timepiece on our list is not only the most expensive Hublot watch ever made, it is also one of the most expensive watches. Period. As you can clearly see, this watch is essentially crafted entirely from diamonds; 1,200 to be exact. It took a long time for Hublot to create these watches, as they designed the watch first, and then meticulously located every diamond that would appropriately fit into the design. Six of the diamonds alone weigh in at over 3-carats, while all the diamonds come it at around 140-carats. You don’t need to be an expert on jewelry to know that that is quite a lot. It almost seems as if this watch doesn’t exist, as it is just so ridiculous. But it does, and in fact Beyoncé picked one up for Jay-Z as a birthday present. I’d imagine that was a pretty special birthday for him.
