As Baselworld 2015 has finally come to a close, we can finally start to take in all the amazing timepieces that were unveiled or showed off at the convention. In the world of watches and luxury timepieces, Baselworld is the most important trade show in the industry. This year we’ve seen many amazing watches from all the big players and some great ones from the little guys as well. So what were the most stand-out watches for men? We are going to take a quick look at a list of the ten best men’s watches from Baselworld 2015.

Zenith Pilot Type 20 Extra Special Bronze

With a Swiss Selluta automatic movement and a great design, this entry-level Pilot watch from Zenith is certainly very desirable. The distressed leather strap coupled with the watches bronze case make it quite the looker. The watches face draws influences from timepieces that your grandfather would have, however the design is still relevant and modern. The watch will be available sometime later this year and is priced at $7,600.

Elegant, sophisticated, slim, and minimal, this watch from Georg Jensen is another great men’s watch that Baselworld 2015 gave us. While Jensen is known for their work with silver and not watches, this watch is undoubtedly very attractive. A watch like this can be worn with a variety of different outfits for many occasions which makes it very desirable.

8. The Longines Pulsometer Chronograph

We mentioned in a pervious article about this years Baselworld that one of the notable trends of the event was a return to classic and traditional styling. That trend is apparent in watches like this Longines and a few others on our list as you will come to see. The Pulsometer Chronograph from Longines certainly takes influence from watches out of the 1920’s or the 1930’s. It features a 40-millimeter steel case and an automatic monopusher chronograph. It is also one of the more affordable “high-end” watches on our list with a price of $4,200.

TAG Heuer always has many amazing watches at shows like Baselworld, and the Carrera Calibre Heuer 01 is certainly one of them. This skeleton watch features the aggressive and complex designs that we know and love from the brand, and it’s a great watch for those that prefer a sportier look. The watch is quite large with a 45-mm case that is made from steel and titanium, yet it is surprisingly light. If you want a conversation starter and a TAG Heuer, look no further.

6. The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711R

At the higher-end of things, we have this amazing watch from Patek Philippe. It’s simple and minimal, yet elegant and attractive. The face is as complex as it needs to be, and it certainly is very stylish. It’s also made entirely from rose gold, so it’s pretty premium and expensive with a price of $51,000 dollars.

5. The Tudor Pelagos Blue

Tudor delivered this all-new Pelagos in blue that is yet another attractive offering from the company. The watch is obviously very blue but is also one of the more interesting timepieces from Baselworld as the bezel is made from ceramic. The watch features a new MT5612 movement from Tudor and a 70-hour power reserve which are nice, but it is the design that make it a great everyday watch for those that want to make more of a fashion statement.

4. The Breguet Tradition Chronograph Independent 7077

Breguet Tradition Chronograph Independent 7077

Just one look at this amazing timepiece from Breguet and you will know exactly why we had to include it on our list. The watch looks amazing, is made from premium materials, and features an extremely impressive movement. This watch has actually two separate drive trains: one that powers the actual clock and one that powers the complications. It’s an absolute joy to see the movements in person and this chronograph is price at $78,900 for the 18k rose gold version and $79,700 for the 18k white gold model.

3. The Sarpaneva Korona Northern Lights

One of the most unique and interesting watches that we saw come out of Baselworld would be Stepan Sarpaneva’s Northern Lights. Based out of Helsinki, Sarpaneva produces only a few watches each year so they are extremely limited. He teamed up with Black Badger to deliver this collection of watches that feature a glowing face and an indicator that shows phases of the moon. The watches are priced at $15,690, come in a few colors, and are limited to just eight units in total.

2. The Hermès Slim d’Hermès Perpetual Calendar

Hermès released a series of watches in their new Slim d’Hermès collection and the Perpetual Calendar is one of the most premium ones. Again we see a vintage-inspired watch that is classic and stylish, and reminiscent of timepieces from the past. As the name implies, this watch is extremely slim and light and are powered by an in-house movement. Everything about this watch just “feels right”, and it is priced at $38,900 dollars. I’m personally a big fan of how the numbers are designed.

This new watch from Ulysse Nardin was another one of our favorites to come out of Baselworld this year. It is extremely classic and traditional in terms of style, yet also very advanced and modern in terms of complications. The watch features a shock absorbing system in the tourbillon that is certainly very impressive. They company used silicon in the tourbillon and the movement to create this shock absorbing system that helps the watch remain accurate at all times. The watch is available in 18k white or rose gold, and it starts at $84,000 dollars.
