Luxury Rental of The Week: The $13,000 Per Night “Zermatt Peak”

Zermatt Peak 3

Out there in the world are incredible vacation homes, and then there are properties that make the others look like shacks. What happens when you construct a luxury home in Switzerland, in a popular ski resort town, and on a plot of land that faces the Matterhorn? Well it would probably look something like the incredible Zermat Peak. For our luxury rental of the week we are headed to the incredible Swiss Alps to take a peak inside one of the nicest ski vacation homes in the entire world. This is a vacation rental where a weeks stay costs as much as sending a child to college for four years. It’s reserved for the wealthiest and most discerning individuals in the world, but we are going to pretend that most of us could actually afford this place.

Zermatt Peak

Zermatt Peak is located in the town of Zermatt and with panoramic views of the Matterhorn, the location seriously could not be any better. You’re in an area that is home to arguably some of the best slopes in the world, and the area is absolutely beautiful. From the outside, Zermatt Peak fits in with the surrounding structures and is iconically very Swiss in design. It’s located on a small cliff and gives off the vibe of a ski lodge. It’s seriously large enough to be a ski lodge, but it is just a rental home. As soon as you step foot on the inside, you’ll know why it costs on average $13,000 dollars per night to rent this place.

The Swiss certainly know a thing or too about luxury living, and  Zermatt Peak is absolutely astonishing on the inside. Guests are met with premium furnishings, incredible views, high ceilings with exposed wood, and stylish decorations. Floor-to-ceiling windows are found in pretty much all of the various rooms in the home, and that’s certainly a nice added touch given the surrounding area. Everything in this rental is top-of-the-line and it is about as luxurious as it gets.

As you can already see, this vacation home is certainly something very special. The Zermatt Peak is a perfect rental that you can call home the next time you come to the Alps for a skiing adventure. The inside offers a massive living room, a large kitchen, a bar, a dining room with a table that seats 12, a library, an entertainment center, a few fireplaces, indoor/outdoor hot tubs, a fitness room, a spa complete with a sauna and a steam room, a walk-in wine cellar, and more. It essentially has all the offerings you would find in a ski resort, yet again, this is a home that you can rent.

Like the rest of Zermatt Peak, the bedrooms are equally as beautiful. The home offers five bedrooms in total, all of which have king-sized beds and en suite bathrooms. Again, this is luxury living at its finest. The bedrooms are styled in accordance with the rest of the home and offer WiFi access points, a television, an entertainment station, and they even have their own private balconies. And again, we see large windows that allow guests to enjoy the beautiful surrounding area.

Like many of the luxury vacation rentals that we examine, Zermatt Peak offers much more than just the amenities that are inside its walls. Excluding the fact that you have access to some pretty incredible ski slopes and resorts in the area, Zermatt Peak also has a full-service staff. You will have your own housekeeper, a private chef, a massage therapist, 24-hour taxi service, and more. You could also spend more and get a personal trainer, limousine service, and a nanny.

The rates for Zermatt Peak range depending on the season and months that you want to visit, however it averages at about $13,000 per night. But expect to pay closer to $20,000 to $25,000 per night during the more popular dates in the wintertime. Regardless, this rental costs a lot of money. Only a very small percentage of the population can realistically afford a rental like this. However, if you are one of those people, Zermatt Peak might be the ultimate ski vacation rental there is. It has pretty much everything you could ever want in a vacation home, and then some. Sure it’s expensive, but it’s also pretty magnificent as well.
