Disney Cruise Line will bring “Frozen” To Life

Frozen at Disney Parks

Disney’s Frozen has been one of the largest animated films to his the scene since its release back in 2013. The movie grossed 1.2 billion in the box office and has grown into a movie loved by people of all ages worldwide. It’s hard to walk into a store of any kind and find nothing related to Frozen at all because it’s so widely popular. Now Disney is preparing to incorporate Frozen into another market once more by including it on their Disney Cruise Line trips.

The company will have the live action version of the film acted out for the cruise guests when they are eating dinner. The live Frozen performances will only be available on a select number of cruises that are traveling to Europe and Alaska, but there are many of those. Passengers will board the boat and it will look relatively normal but at some point overnight the crew puts in a lot of effort to transform everything into a winter styling full of icicles, snowflakes and much more. The entire atrium lobby of the boat will even be recreated to look like a replica of Queen Elsa’s palace.

In addition to all of this, actors and actresses will be dressed up like the main characters and wandering around the cruise ship to meet fans and stop for photos like any other Disney park. There will be a party on the deck, the show with songs during a Frozen themed dinner as well as a chocolate scavenger hunt and snowman building for families and their children.

If customers are lucky enough to be taking the cruises headed for Norway, they will even have the option to explore some time in Alesund, which is one of the main locations that Disney used as the inspiration for the movie’s setting.  The entire cruise is a unique experience that only Disney can provide, and will surely be a way for them to revitalize their cruises and attract more guests.
