You’ll Need at Least $200 for These Nike Running Shoes

Nike’s products are sold throughout the entire world and they are well known for their athletic gear, especially their shoes. They make a wide range of different shoes for many different sports; some of which they sponsor with their gear. The iconic swoosh has been with us for some time now and is seen on all of their products. While their shoes are often somewhat expensive as you are paying for the Nike brand, they still make extremely high quality athletic shoes for both men and women. While they produce many different types of shoes and athletic gear, the company got its start selling running shoes to athletes at track meets and was founded by a track runner and his track coach. They company originally sold imported Japanese sneakers on the sidelines, however after time they created their own. Given Nike’s history in track and running, we are going to look at some of the most expensive running shoes this legendary sports company makes today.

5. Nike Air Zoom Structure 18 Flash iD – $170

With an extremely long name, the Nike Air Zoom Structure 18 Flash iD’s are the first sneakers that make our list of the most expensive, costing $170 dollars. Now before we get into the shoe itself, the Nike iD program is their customization program allowing consumers to design the shoes themselves and make them extremely personal. So while the regular Nike Air Zoom Structure 18 Flash’s are less money ($135 dollars), the iD versions cost more. But hey, thats a price people are willing to pay to customize their shoes. These shoes feature great cushioning and improved stability that is achieved through Nike’s Zoom Air and Dynamic Support technology. The shoe itself is made from water repellent mesh that is lightweight and breathable. Additionally the shoes have various reflective elements allowing you to be seen when running at night. Flywire cables are also found on the shoes to enhance medial lockdown.

4. Nike Flynit Air Max – $179.97

Next up on our list with a price of $179.97 are the Nike Flynit Air Max’s. The shoe is made from one single piece of Nike’s ultra-lightweight Flyknit material. The shoes also feature Flywire technology that is incorporated with the laces for an extremely supportive and secure fit. These shoes have a sculpted cushion midsole that make for a comfortable experience providing the user with impact protection and strong resilience. The sole uses their iconic Air Max technology for a lightweight, comfortable, and supportive running experience. These shoes also have reflective elements to make them seen when worn at night and in low light situations.

3. Nike Air Max 2014 – $180

Coming in  at number three on our list is last years pairs of Nike Air Max’s (still this years, but shoe models work the same way cars do). While they are technically outdated, they are still one of the most expensive pairs of running shoes that Nike still sells. These shoes feature the lightest and most flexible Max Air cushioning that Nike has ever released. The shoes combine extreme levels of cushioning and comfort to keep your feet from hurting on those long runs. The shoes are made from breathable mesh that comes in a variety of different color combinations. The outsole is designed to distribute the runners weight evenly when running. The shoes also have no-sew overlays to give the user a “seam-free comfort and enhanced support”. The shoes are very light weight and weigh only 13.2 ounces.

2. Nike Flyknit Lunar2 iD – $185

Taking the number two spot on our list is the Nike Flyknit Lunar2 iD’s. The sneakers are extremely lightweight and are made from one piece of Nike’s advanced Flyknit material. Flywire cables are also found wrapped around the shoes giving added arch support. These cables according to Nike “work with the Dynamic Fit system and are customizable through the laces to lend a dynamic, glove-like fit”. The shoe liner also conforms to the shape of your foot as you wear them in addition to have a sole made from comfortable Lunarlon technology. These shoes are some of the more advanced running shoes that Nike sells.

1. Nike Air Max 2015 iD – $220

The last sneakers on our list and also the most expensive ones that Nike makes are the all new Nike Air Max 2015 iD’s. These shoes provide you with the most amount of cushioning and flexibility found in a Nike running shoe; it is essentially their flagship running shoe. The shoe is made from breathable mesh and has Flawier technology form increased comfort and support. The shoe has been redesigned to be even more lightweight and flexible. Additionally when buying these shoes you can choose the width to ensure that they fit like a glove, combine that with the customization that Nike iD provides, and you have a pretty spectacular shoe.
