A Look At The Upcoming Nike Kobe 9 Elite’s: “Detail”

Basketball shoes are easily one of the most important parts of basketball, and they are quintessential to playing the game, obviously.  As I am sure you know, multiple basketball players are endorsed by various shoe companies and they come out with certain shoes made just for the players. They also release these shoes to the general public, and Nike’s are some of the most popular. Well, the all new Kobe’s are set to drop in March and the hype around them is as high as ever.

Kobe Bryant has a few different styles of shoes on the market. Most of his shoes are low tops, however the Kobe 9 Elites are a series of high-top sneakers. Kobe’s shoes always feature intricate designs, multiple colors, and different textures (most of which resemble snake skin due to his nickname). The Kobe 9 Elites are lightweight shoes that are designed to move naturally with you feat. “Flywire” and “Flyknit” technology is used in the shoe and is designed to be lightweight and breathable. This technology was developed by Nike originally for runners who wanted a shoe that would fit like a sock. There is also carbon fiber used in the heel clip, for added lightweight support. In addition to being extremely functional basketball shoes that feel like low-tops but are really high-tops, Kobe’s shoes are some of the most unique looking.

Like most of Nike’s high-end sneakers, limited edition versions are released periodically. These limited run shoes have extremely unique designs and are extremely rare. The upcoming Kobe 9 Elite’s are called “Detail” (pictured above). These shoes are highly anticipated and will be available in limited amounts. The shoes will be available on March 22 and will retail for $225 dollars. Sneakers like these typically will have hundreds of people waiting outside participating retail stores, sometimes for days, hoping to get their hands on a pair. Shoes like this will often be sold on eBay and other after-market stores and will probably cost somewhere between $600 dollars and even as high as $1,000 dollars.
