Steakhouses are an American favorite. Those who dine on a decadent steak want to go to a restaurant with good cuts of meat, excellent sides, a good wine list and quality service. However, you might be surprised to find out exactly which steakhouses are the most valuable. It’s not the expensive restaurants that are coming to mind; some of the most valuable steakhouses in the country are affordable and located just about everywhere.

Outback Steakhouse

With nearly $2.3 billion in sales annually, Outback steakhouse is one of the most valuable steakhouses in the country. It’s famous for its down under personality and blooming onion. Outback has more than 1,000 locations across the US and several hundred more locations in other countries.

Texas Roadhouse

What makes this steakhouse so popular is the special blend of cinnamon butter they use on their delicious rolls – at least that’s a theory. They’re known for good steak and a down home feel when you’re there for dinner. Throw your peanuts on the floor and enjoy a meal at this steakhouse. It boasts more than $1.3 billion in sales each year.

Longhorn Steakhouse

Longhorn is a popular steakhouse because it’s located just about everywhere. The restaurant can be found in 40 states, with more than 435 locations throughout those states. Every steak served here is a USDA choice variety, and each restaurant is considered environmentally friendly. Longhorn Steakhouse earns approximately $1.1 billion in sales annually.

Logan’s Roadhouse

This is another popular and valuable steakhouse located in the US. This restaurant has hundreds of locations across most states, and annual sales of more than $661 million. The restaurant is very similar to Texas Roadhouse in that you can toss your peanut shells on the floor while enjoying a very casual dining atmosphere with quality steaks and sides.

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse

One of the most popular and valuable steakhouses in the country, Ruth’s Chris is still casual but nowhere near as casual as the other restaurants on this list. Here you’ll find a more upscale vibe, a quality wine list and an a’la carte menu. This restaurant has annual sales of $475.9 million.
