In just a few short weeks Disney is releasing Million Dollar Arm in theaters across the country. It’s the story of an unconventional method of seeking baseball talent. J.B. Bernstein and his partner make the trip to India in search of amazing baseball talent. Instead of using traditional methods, such as attending high school and college baseball games, the agent and his partner decide to find talent using the devices of a reality show called Million Dollar Arm.
Part of the Million Dollar Arm was filmed in the south, using the famed bar in the St. Regis Atlanta hotel as a backdrop for the movie. Atlanta residents faced traffic delays amid their excitement as scenes for the movie were shot right in their own backyard. Now that the movie is ready to open, Atlanta visitors and residents are in for a treat courtesy of the St. Regis Atlanta’s “Million Dollar Arm” package.
