There has been rumor that soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo will be moving to the United States once his Real Madrid contract expires in 2018. Adding fuel to these rumors is a report that just came out saying that Ronaldo has just dropped $18.5 million on an apartment in New York City’s Trump tower. The 2,500 square foot apartment was purchased from Alessandro Proto, a business partner of Trump’s.
If there’s one thing this place does NOT look like, it’s an apartment belonging to Cristiano Ronaldo. Keep in mind however, these are before pictures so we have no idea what it’ll look like when he moves in. You might also be wondering why a 2,500 square foot apartment costs this much money.
There are a couple of reasons. One is that it’s in Trump Tower. That alone will inflate the price. The second? This apartment has some of the best panoramic views of Central Park one could ask for. There are even amazing views from the bathroom. Trump tower also offers a number of amenities and prestige of simply being a Trump property.
