As a result of increased demand from Etihad’s guests traveling between New York and Abu Dhabi and onto the rest of the world, Etihad has decided to upgrade one of their two daily flights to an A380 from December 2015. If you haven’t experienced it yet, the A380 really is one of a kind. It features the ultra-luxurious The Residence by Etihad™, the world’s first (and only) private three-room suite in the sky. This new model airbus is the first commercial plane of its kind. It offers a 5-star hotel experience within the confines of a chartered flight. Suites with with actual beds and living areas populate the residence class and yet the plane’s flight capabilities are not compromised.
