A Look at the World’s Most Expensive Pizza

$1000 Pizza Goes On Sale In New York

There’s just something inherently wrong with the world’s most expensive pizza. We’ve posted several of the “world’s most expensive” on this website and most of the things are interesting and often intriguing. The world’s most expensive pizza just has us about ready to go on strike.

Steveston Pizza in Richmond, British Columbia has created a pizza unlike any other. For the common man it’s a crime against one of the world’s greatest foods. To the super wealthy, with wealthy tastes, it’s a dream come true. It’s a blend of a classic with some of the finer things in life. So what’s on the pizza? It’s loaded with lobster thermidor, black Alaskan cod, smoked salmon, tiger prawns and Russian Osetra caviar.

According to Nader Hatami, owner of the pizzeria, “it’s not your typical Friday night pizza”. Well, that’s pretty obvious. Hatami said he just kept going when he was adding ingredients. He envisioned a pizza that celebrated his love for seafood and it seems to be success. Believe it or not, the pizza is a crazy success right now.

Are you prepared to pay close to $1,000 for a pizza? Are you prepared to pay hundreds for a single slice? Well, I’m not – it’s a pretty cool pizza, but it doesn’t exactly seem appetizing.
