Celebrity engagements are always public news. For some, the speculation begins months before an engagement is confirmed and/or even happens. For others, a pair can be engaged for months before anyone finds out. However, there is one thing all celebrity couples have in common regarding their engagements; everyone wants to see the ring. Read on to find out which three celebrities currently have the most impressive engagement rings.

Ciara

Ciara is a singer/songwriter who is currently expecting her first child with her fiancé, rapper Future. The rapper asked the singer to marry him the day she turned 28, giving her a 15-carat diamond ring worth a reported $1.5 million. The gorgeous ring is comprised of emerald cut diamonds, with the largest in the center, two smaller ones protecting it and a band of diamonds.

Kim Kardashian

Leave it to Kanye West to ensure his bride-to-be has an ostentatious ring, since his proposal was pretty over the top. After surprising her with an engagement ring at AT&T Field in San Francisco with all her friends and family present – and video cameras taping – as well as fireworks and an orchestra, the star posted a picture of their new daughter, North West, holding the 15-carat ring in her tiny little hand. Worth $8 million, this ring is one of the biggest on any celebrity hand at the moment.

Beyonce

She did coin the phrase, “If you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it,” and in true rap mogul fashion, Jay-Z did exactly that. The megastar proposed to Beyonce with an 18-carat, $5 million ring in 2008. The ring was designed by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. For six years, Beyonce has claimed the top spot for biggest celebrity engagement ring on any ring finger. Guess that’s what happens when you sing about it.
