Their instruments are extremely popular and they are easily one of the most successful guitar companies of all time. Their instruments are used by countless musicians across the world: from aspiring guitar players playing in their basement to rock and roll stars. The company produces a wide range of guitars and basses at many different price points. Since the company is so well known, we are going to look at their five most expensive guitars that they currently produce.

5. The American Vintage ’58 Telecaster – $1,999

The Fender Telecaster was the worlds first solid-body electric guitar ever and it was the guitar that got Fender started. Their “America Vintage” series are some of their most expensive, and aim to capture the classic Fender tones. The guitar has two single-coil pickups, and the older 1958 Telecaster neck. The guitar is clean and bright sounding and is used frequently in country music.

4. The Select Port Orford Cedar Stratocaster – $2,149

Fender’s Stratocaster series are easily the companies most popular guitars. These are used by so many different musicians spanning many genres. This particular Stratocaster uses rare cedar wood from Port Orford in Oregon. That specific type of cedar is only native to that area of Oregon. Outside of that, its a normal Strat.

3. The American Vintage ’65 Jazzmaster – $2,299

There are a variety of pickup selectors, knobs, and switches on the guitar to give you an endless combination of sounds. Again we see the nicest and most expensive model from their American Vintage collection.

1. The 60th Anniversary American Vintage 1954 Stratocaster – $2,499

Finally the most expensive guitar that Fender currently manufactures is the 60th Anniversary American Vintage 1954 Stratocaster. This guitar was made to commemorate the very first Starts that came out in 1954. While the Telecasters were the companies first guitars, the Stratocasters would become their most famous guitars. This guitar is only being produced in 2014 in a limited quantity of 1,954 units.
