The first hotel we are going to look at is the Hotel Jagdhof Spa in Austria. This hotel and resort essentially represents everything Alpine hotels stand for. It has a classic styling and design that can only be appropriately found in this region, and has all the comforts you could ask for in a premium ski hotel. It’s a family-run, five-star property that’s among the best in the region. You’ll find luxurious rooms, an incredible spa, six restaurants, and access to some of the best slopes around.

9. Hotel Royal Evian – Neuvecelle, France

Hotel Royal Evian

Trip Advisor Score: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Located on the banks of Lake Geneva on the French side, Hotel Royal Evian is a premium and upscale hotel that is both modern and luxurious. It’s a five-star property that has recently undergone massive amounts of renovations, so it’s as new as ever. You’ll find luxurious rooms and suites, a spa, a few restaurants, a pool, a fitness center and more. They’re opening up their doors in July, and if you book way in advanced for the winter months, you can get rooms for as low as $240 per night which is a steal for a five-star resort.

The Carlton Hotel – St. Moritz, Switzerland

Carlton Hotel

Trip Advisor Score: 5 out of 5 stars

The Carlton Hotel is an incredible estate that was originally constructed in 1913 that overlooks Lake St. Moritz. Many people consider the Swiss Alps to contain some of the best hotels and ski slopes, and the Carlton Hotel is located in one of the most desirable ski resort towns around. You’ll notice a common theme between these hotels on our list, as they are all five-star properties that offer the best amenities imaginable. Rooms here range between basic, one-bedroom accommodations to larger suites. The Carlton Hotel even potentially offers guests the ability to rent out the entire property, but I cannot even begin to imagine how much that would cost.

Petit Hotel Confidentiel – Chambery, France

Petit Hotel Confidentiel

Trip Advisor Score: 4.5 out of 5 stars

If you’re seeking a luxury boutique hotel experience in the alps, but at a hotel that’s not disconnect from the rest of the world, then consider the Petit Hotel Confidentiel. It’s located in downtown Chambery so you have a wonderful city filled with activities at your disposal, but just a quick trip outside the city center and you’re in the alps. The hotel is extremely chic and stylish; one that could only realistically be found in Europe. It’s modern and clean, and it’s certainly very sophisticated.

Granvara Relais & Spa Hotel – Selva di Val Gardena, Italy

Granvara Relais & Spa Hotel

Trip Advisor Score: 5 out of 5 stars

Located in the Alps of northern Italy, the Granvara Relais & Spa Hotel may be fairly small compared to some of the other hotel on our list, however it is still very luxurious and premium. Accommodations range between basic rooms and larger suites, and they offer something for everyone. They also have a spa, a pool, a few restaurants, and some of the greatest views around. It’s location is somewhat remote so it’s also extremely private as well.

Hotel Le K2 – Courchevel, France

Hotel le K2

Trip Advisor Score: 5 out of 5 stars

Often described as one of the most luxurious hotels within the entirety of the Alps, Hotel Le K2 stands above the rest. When your average room looks like this, you know the hotel is pretty incredible. There are only 29 rooms in total here, however all of them are essentially large apartments and villas. It might just be the most affluent hotel found within the Alps. It’s a five-star property so it’s obviously outfitted with all the amenities and features you could want, including a Michelin starred restaurant and a luxurious spa. Hotel Le K2 goes above and beyond what is often considered “luxurious”, and it may not only be the most luxurious hotel in the Alps, but one of the most luxurious hotels in general.
