Hyatt Launches New Luxury Lifestyle Brand: Hyatt Centric

Hyatt Centric

The popular hotel company Hyatt has recently announced that they are going to introduce a new brand under their name: Hyatt Centric. Hyatt Hotels Corporation has said that this new brand will be part of the Hyatt family, however it will be a series of hotels that are targeting a different type of customer: the modern traveler. The company promises that Hyatt Centric will be a “lifestyle brand” and from what we know so far, its shaping up to be very interesting.

Hyatt has felt that the need to make some improvements in the ever-changing hotel industry, and the Hyatt Centric brand should attract a great deal of people. Essentially Hyatt hopes that with this brand will offer a refreshing hotel experience. Instead of using the traditional hotel formula, Hyatt will be outfitting these hotels with local art, modern comforts, contemporary design cues, and more. The result is a hotel that feels very much apart of the town or city that it is located in; a hotel that separates itself from appearing to be a major-hotel chain.

Outside of the uniquely and modern decorated rooms, the hotels will have much to offer. Things like free Wi-Fi, boutique restaurants and bars serving local fare, a pet-friendly environment, s spa/fitness center, and more. The Hyatt Centric locations will also feature “The Corner” which is sort of like a lounge. The Corner will offer a small library, desks and sofas, free computers to use, a café, outdoor spaces, light refreshments/bar food, and more. Hyatt is hoping to create a sophisticated and modern urban environment where people can come to relax, work, or play.

Hyatt will be launching 15 of these Hyatt Centric hotels around the world, and they will be opening sooner than you think. Hyatt will be opening hotels in Houston, Park City, Paris, Miami, New York, Long Beach, Washington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco, Santa Barbra, and Key West this coming summer. If the brand proves to be successful we hope to see more locations open up in the future.
