Get Married on the Helipad of the World’s Only 7-Star Hotel

Worlds only 7 star hotel in Dubai, the Burj Al Arab

If you fancy a wedding that will be no doubt memorable perhaps you should head to the Middle East (and dig deep in your life savings). The Burj Al Arab is the world’s only 7-star hotel (if there was such a thing). The luxury hotel’s helipad is famous in its own right. Whether it be hosting a tennis match between Roger Federer and Andre Agassi in 2005, golfer Rory McIlroy hitting some pitching wedges, or Formula One Champion David Coulthard doing donuts in a Red Bull Racing car, the helipad has made quite a name for itself. The world’s most-famous landing spot is about to add another memorable event or two or hundreds to its name.

The Burj Al Arab is now set to host weddings on the helipad 212 meters about the Arabian Gulf. The hotels in-house wedding architect will be responsible for handling every detail of your nuptials. If that isn’t enough you’ll have access to top haute couturiers, Dubai’s best jewelers, beauty treatments from celebrity personal trainers, after-hours access to luxury attire and private etiquette and dance lessons. Those planning their weddings will also have access to the hotel’s top chef for their wedding cake design and flavoring. Things are starting to sound costly aren’t they?

Maybe not – wedding packages start at $55,000. People have clearly paid A LOT more in the United States. However, a word of caution: we’re sure the $55,000 gets you on the helipad with your future wife. Everything else is probably add-on, right? Still would be pretty memorable if you’re not afraid of heights.
