Conrad Hilton is a name we all recognize, even if Hilton hotels are not our favorite. It’s not that they’re not well-run. They are. The problem for me is that I simply haven’t been to a Hilton property that’s been renovated, made upscale and nice and actually appeals to me in years. The ones I see seem so old and run down, and there is always a Four Seasons or a Ritz Carlton or a Starwood hotel nearby that’s far more luxurious and far more worth my time. Except, of course, for the Conrad Hotel collection. They are nothing short of sheer luxury, and we are in love with them. Read on to find out which ones are our absolute favorites – and note that we saved the best for last.
Conrad New York – $369 per night
New York City is filled with luxury hotels, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t room for one more in the form of the Conrad. This upscale hotel is located in Lower Manhattan close to all of the amenities and luxuries that the city is so famous for. It’s very modern with a flair of contemporary appeal, and it is the best. It’s here you will find the gorgeous ATRIO Wine Bar and the amazing rooftop terrace that is designed to make you want to stay in the city for the rest of your life. You won’t hate the views of the Hudson, that’s for certain.
Conrad Bali – $185 per night
Indonesia is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and the Conrad in Bali recognizes how much people want to see when they are visiting. With gorgeous waterfront views, white sand beaches and luxury amenities, you won’t want to leave. Each Suite comes complete with its own private infinity pool and the Jiwa Spa makes life more amazing than ever before. Five restaurants and bars keep you in the most amazing mood while you are here, especially when you consider the views you’ll get when dining at Eight Degrees South.
Conrad Miami – $300 per night
There is nothing like a rooftop pool in Miami, especialy when it offers gorgeous views of the Biscayne Bay. The Conrad Miami features 36 floors of gorgeous views and luxury from top to bottom. There are more than 60 treatments available at the spa, a bar and a restaurant that make it possible to stay on the premise without ever leaving, and a bar on the 25th floor that offers the most spectacular views of the city and the water you might ever imagine. Anything else you want is within walking distance.
Conrad Koh Samui – $1,200 per night
The tropical island on which this hotel is situated is one of the most impressive in the world. We should mention that the Conrad Koh Samui is the 2014 Global Luxury Hideaway Resort winner, and it has everything to do with the upscale elegance and the clear blue water that all but surrounds this luxe location. With beautiful pools, a world-class spa and five restaurants and lounges, you’ll find it impossible resist the alluring temptation of this hotel, even if paying more than $1,200 per night for a hotel in Thailand is out of the budget.
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island – $1,350 per night
We saved the best for last. Forget the upscale rooms, the high-end amenities and the beautiful beaches. The spa is nice, but it’s not what makes a splash. The villas, the restaurants, the private pools; it’s all spectacular. But it’s not why you come to the Maldives Conrad location. You come here so you can visit the underwater restaurant and dine on amazing food and wine while surrounded on three sides by the beautiful, crystal clear ocean. You never know what might swim around you as you dine, and that’s what makes this the most desirable restaurant in the world.
