The Most Expensive Hotels in Switzerland

Davos Prepares To Host The World Economic Forum

Switzerland is a beautiful country that has a lot to offer, especially for a vacation. Ski in the cold snow covered mountains and villages or sit on your hotel balcony and overlook a shimmering lake filled with boats on a sunny day; either way Switzerland is a prime vacation destination in Europe, and these are the most expensive hotels.

5. Swiss Diamond Hotel

The Swiss Diamond Hotel is located in Lugano, Switzerland and is very nice, but definitely the most traditional style hotel for the price. The suites are very nice but feel like standard hotels; however, the Swiss Diamond does offer five different restaurants and bars to eat at. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, gym, sauna, hammam, solarium, and private sauna & solarium.

4. Hotel InterContinental Geneva

The InterContinental in Geneva sits right near the water and gives some great balcony backdrops with the surrounding mountains. The InterContinental has four different restaurants to dine in that offer different atmospheres. The hotel offers a fitness center, pool, and spa to relax in.

3. Gstaad Palace Hotel

The Gstaad Palace Hotel is a classic Swiss hotel that is once again located on a beautiful landscape and offers plenty to do. The mountain views is a nice change of pace for visitors but they can still use the tennis courts, pool, and massage areas. The suites in the Gstaad Palace are unbelievable and perch people up high with the best views around during the winter and summer months.

2. Art Deco Hotel Montana

The Art Deco Hotel Montana is absolutely gorgeous and is in the perfect location to vacation in. The hotel sits in Luzern, Switzerland and is right on a waterfront property that offers fantastic views across the water backed by towns and endless mountains with their tops shrouded in clouds. The hotel has a great spa that offers massages, beauty and cosmetic treatments as well as other services. The hotel even has six different places to dine for all types of delicious meals.

1. Beau-Rivage Geneva

The Beau-Rivage Geneva hotel is located right on the water front in Geneva, Switzerland. This beautiful estate is a classic hotel that has been around for generations and only offers the most excellent service. They offer 6 historical suites that are spacious and cozy with great views but can cost over $3,000 per night; while even the least expensive room costs $650 a night and could be considered a suite at any other hotel.
