And the Most Expensive Hotel in Chicago Is…..

The-Peninsula-Hotel

Chicago is home to many different luxury hotels that provide all the comfort and amenities that you could ever one. There are a lot of famous hotels here as well from the Ritz-Carlton to the Trump Hotel Chicago; there really is no lack of quality hotels here. Depending on your budget, you can book rooms or suites in the most premium hotels here. Out of all the hotels in Chicago, the Peninsula is probably the most expensive hotel to stay in.

Peninsula Hotels are a small chain of luxury hotels that are based out of Hong Kong. They only have ten hotels in the world including the one here in Chicago. The Peninsula Chicago is not the tallest hotel as there are only 20 floors, however it is easily one of the most luxurious. The Peninsula Chicago first opened up in 2001 and every year since then the hotel has been awarded with the Forbes Five Star award and the AAA Five Diamond award for excellence. Additionally this hotel in 2004 won Time + Leisures award for best hotel in North America, the Zagat award for best hotel in North America, and Forbes awarded it with their “Best Hotel Bar in the World” award. So it seems that they are doing something right.

The hotel has 339 rooms including 83 expansive suites, four restaurants, one amazing bar, an incredible spa/wellness center, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and pretty much everything else you would expect a Five Star hotel to have. The hotel is also located very close to the airport and the famous Magnificent Mile in Chicago, so you will never run out of things to do here. Rooms, depending on the rates, start between $400-$600 dollars per night for the basic options, while their more premium suites will cost you about $8,500 per night. With those prices, they make the Peninsula the most expensive hotel in Chicago. But that is to be expected, as this is one of the best hotels in Chicago as well.
