An Amazing Salon Experience for Men at the Bulgari Hotel in London

Comic-Con attendees are treated to customized shaves by professional barbers

When traveling, it’s not often that people consider seeking out a nice barber or salon to receive a top quality haircut. However, around the world getting a quality shave or haircut is always considered a luxury that leaves a man feeling refreshed and rejuvenated when he walks out of the salon. Back in 2001 The Ritz-Carlton started a partnership with fashion brand Bulgari to begin a new line of hotels focused on bringing together luxury, style and traveling. Now, in 2014, the Bulgari hotel in London is opening their latest idea; a men’s only grooming salon.

The new operation is being called “Gentlemen’s Grooming at Bulgari Spa” which will offer any men interested the option to get an extremely luxurious haircut, shave or more. Customers are going to have to make an advanced appointment, but won’t be disappointed; the place is very private and cozy with wood paneling all around. Men can get their hair cut or face shaved in nice leather barber chairs that are very comfortable and also have the option for the “Gentlemen’s Signature Experience,” which cost $345 and will buy them a haircut, shave and cigar store (also located in the hotel) for a sampling and drink with the habannosommelier.

The Gentlemen’s Grooming Club shaves last for 40 minutes while the haircuts take 50 minutes and each have a price tag of $95. There is even a “lunchtime menu” that opens up the possibility for people to come in and have a quick 20 minute neck and shoulder massage (also $95) or even a nail buff for $30. The entire treatment process is very relaxing and a superb option for men to have in a hotel. It offers a unique stylistic getaway while the ladies take the day to go out shopping that can’t be found anywhere else. Bulgari is a top fashion boutique that is all about class and luxury, and they are transitioning that into the hotel business well, because the new Gentlemen’s Grooming Club is a fantastic idea.
