Each year Hong Kong has their Gold Coast Boat Show that is held at the Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club. This is the show’s 15th year of production and everything is being expanded to include a Mystery Boat Charity Regatta as well as a build and race challenge. The boat show is a huge event and lots of people are expected to come out this year to have a good time and support good causes.
The Gold Coast Boat Show is planned to happen Labor Day weekend of this year from May 1-3. The theme of 2015 is “affordable luxury” with a focus on accessibility and the diversity among Honk Kong’s boating lifestyles. The market gives interested customers the chance to purchase a weekend cruiser boat for under $100,000 HKD, but there are also plenty of mega yachts around that cost more than $50 million HKD. The event will show people that you can afford a boat and have a great time.
The event is a lot of fun and something that families can enjoy together. There is entertainment, good food, and now the regatta as well. The grill features a mix between BBQ and Chinese foods for a great mix of culture. The Gold Coast Boat Show will have plenty of boat dealers and yach retailers there as well so that people have the chance to come and purchase a boat. There will be over 60 local and international and over 70 yachts to showcase.
The event will hopefully have great weather and a large turnout while being on Labor Day Weekend. Many will have off and it will be a great thing to do with the family. The show has been great each year in the past and the 2015 Show seems like it will only get better with the addition of the Regatta.
